On Saturday we took the ferry over Göta Älv to have coffee and cake. We sat down at Café Kringlan in Haga.

We ran some errands, like buying alcohol for the Crayfish party we were having that evening. Amanda bought mini peppers which she filled with cream cheese.

She also made us amazing drinks with rum, rhubarb, lime, cardamom and sprite. Heaven!

Carl was there, haven’t seen him since I lived in Karlskrona.

When all the food preparations were done and everyone had arrived we started the party for real.

There were so much food, but no crayfish as the majority was vegetarian or allergic.

After awhile we renamed the crayfish party, it was now the cheese party.

It was a great night that lasted late.

Amanda came down from Stockholm to join us on Friday. We had booked a table at the vegetarian indian restaurant Thali.

Here’s Jonatan, Sofia and Sandra.

The whole company, patiently waiting for food.

A good thing was that they had crayons on the table which you could go bananas with on the table cloth.

The food was amazing but we wasn’t too happy about the service, but I might just give it another try next time. It was a great evening with many laughs and weird art.

Here’s more of the art in Borås. After our tour we took the train to Bollebygd which is between Göteborg and Borås. Agnes lived there with her mother and sister during her short time in Sweden. We drank champagne and ate artichoke with her family, it was such a feast! I stayed the night and returned to Göteborg when Agnes went to work the next day.

I’d say that this was my favourite street art. So powerful!

Later on Thursday I took the train to Borås where I met up with Agnes. She was working there for three weeks before going to Nairobi. She worked there for a year before we went to Glasgow so I was curious about the place I had heard so much about.

She took me on a tour. Borås has a street art event called No Limit, which has been going on two years in a row now.

The art was spread all over town, small and big works.

Agnes told me that the sculptor of this bunny said that it is thinking of sex.

This sculpture was one of my favourites, I just want to take the child home.

And this is Agnes’ favourite.

This small guy was one of many that you could discover if you looked carefully around you.

More art to come in the next part!

On Thursday morning I met up with Johan before he went to work. Such a cool guy!

After a couple of hours we said goodbye and I went to Göteborg Stadsmuseum to look at their exhibitions. I wasn’t that impressed though so I took the ferry over to Sofia & Jonatan’s place where I lived during my visit.

Look at this beautiful city! The ferry between the two shores of Göta Älv takes five minutes or a bit longer depending on where you want to hop off. Bike + ferry = <3
